SSF2 Beta Bug Report/Troubleshooting Thread

This is more of a complaint regarding the controller configuration but, for Gamecube controllers, it feels so off. Maybe it's because there's no proper analogue inputs, but some inputs don't register correctly. For example, if I hit down on the C-Stick, I jump and do a down-aerial instead of simply down-smashing. Or if I want to do a tap smash attack, I instead dash, then dash attack or jump then up-aerial. Idk, maybe a proper controller configuration UI would help or maybe some tweaking with the controller input registration would help, I just want to properly play SSF2 with a controller with no problems.

I found this glitch out a little while before this report. So, this glitch happens with only Falco :falco: as the player and Kirby :kirby: as the computer. I tried it with other characters against Kirby and I tried it with Kirby as the player and Falco as the computer, but it only works when Falco as the player and Kirby as the computer. I don't know how it happens and I don't know why but the only information I get from it is that it happens when Kirby copies Falco's ability. It doesn't happen immediately, but after a few seconds Kirby stops in idle animation and all SFX stay on the screen and Kirby is untouchable and the camera no longer tracks the player. The game also doesn't end when all stocks are lost, it must be ended manually with a draw.

2 glitches I found in Special Smash

1. Enable Egg and go to Pac-Maze, almost impossible to have a winner. 999% hit with Home-Run Bat? SURVIVES!


2. Defeated 2 CPUs on Nintendo 3DS with Mega and Metal enabled.
They both magically come back, get KO'd, come back less then a second, and get eliminated again. DURING THE GRAVITY SHIFT PHASE! (when it's gravity is reversed)
2.5. Before the defeated 2 CPUs, during the inverted gravity phase, all players get into eggs and bounce.

apparently, a bug from v0.9b is still there:

if chibi-robo is attacked the moment he's about to throw a projectile that he pocketed earlier, the projected will float in midair and it will stay like that until the match ends (also, the projectile cannot be interacted in this state):

KOs count as a point for whoever last hit the KO'd character, even if...
...the KO'd character successfully recovered after being hit and then jumped off the stage.
...the KO'd character hadn't been hit during that stock.
...a long time passed between the hit and the KO.
...the KO'd character hit themselves, thus counting as +1 and -1 point for the character at the same time (via items, or Link/Sandbag's bombs, but not Goku's Kaio-ken)

When hit into the air you must input a action before you can air dodge. Its very annoying because if you are a highly punishable character then its very easy to be juggled

I have the installer version of the game, and when it starts it searchs for new updates. But this error appears:

And i can't even play online, it says "Could not connect to server" everytime i try to login. It worked perfectly the first day. What can i do? Do i need to give the game permission or something?

When you use :kirby: and you use inhale on :isaac: in training mode the screen freezes. if done outside of training you do no damage and isaac lags. Also found a weird thing with :ness:

This glitch is training mode only

1) Freeze the opponent (use a freezie, it's easier)
2) Set the No. of CPU to 0
3) Set it back to 1
4) This:

The ice block will remain there until the cpu got frozen again.
