i thought the arrancar arc had some really good moments (floating around in oceans of bad ones) and the flashback miniarc thing contained probably some of the best parts of the entire anime

They all are influenced by anime original events prior and thus don't reflect the source material properly. Don't mind me, just being a grognard.
