This is actually the topic for the new guitar hero game, not FNAF.

having it transition between different clips seamlessly is either going to have to have some really clever editing tricks thrown in or just dumb obvious cut points like the POV looking down at the ground or w/e
you can see it in the video in the OP where he plays poorly. there's kind of a flash effect between the videos

It seems to work well enough for me tbh. I've only seen it in a youtube video but I mean, when you see it in person you're only going to see it in your peripheral vision anyway while you pay attention to the notes, so it's not too big of a deal if it doesn't look flawless

also: they're having playable demos of this in NYC Union Square Best Buy and Torrence CA Best Buy on the 18th. Would love to hear some impressions if any of you are around those areas

Some gameplay and an interview. The gameplay is on Veteran difficulty, this game's Expert.

It's interesting to finally see it in a difficulty relevant to me. I like how it makes very simple songs much more interesting. I think I'm pretty much sold on the new guitar conceptually, but I'd like a bump in setlist quality tbh. Still, this seems quite nice now that I've really seen it in action.

Oh also you can hear "Ho Hey" in the background, confirming that's the Lumineers song. Which was obvious to begin with because it's their only song. But whatever

I'm gonna start calling this recent emergence of faux-indie folky poppy groups "pop folk", and I want to establish right now that I f*** hate pop folk. Far more than any reasonable person should

I dunno what that is actually

Also from analyzing the trailer for GHTV we've found these:

Carrie Underwood - "Before He Cheats"
The Gaslight Anthem - "45"
Green Day - "Oh Love"
Madden Brothers
Paramore

Again nothing especially strong but m-maybe they're just saving the big guns??

Reports from the live preview event (Take this with a grain of salt, can't all be verified easily)

-New artist: Avicii (hoooray)
-45 songs on disc
-200 songs at a time in rotation on GHTV
-No specific word about metal tracks, but at least one jazz track is in apparently

Small update, sleuths found two more songs, one good and one s***:

Pierce the Veil - "King for a Day"
The Police - "Message in a Bottle"

I actually think I hate that first song even more than all the Walmart-folk songs

Rolling Stone just revealed the first official batch of songs, and it feels like we're finally f*** getting somewhere:
The Black Keys - "Gold on the Ceiling"
Blitz Kids - "Sometimes"
Ed Sheeran - "Sing"
Fall Out Boy - "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)”
Gary Clark, Jr. - "Don't Owe You a Thang"
Green Day - "Nuclear Family"
The Killers - “When You Were Young"
The Lumineers - "Ho Hey"
My Chemical Romance - "Na Na Na"
Pierce the Veil - "King for a Day (feat. Kellin Quinn)"
The Rolling Stones - "Paint it Black"
Skrillex - "Bangarang"
The War on Drugs - "Under the Pressure"
Black Veil Brides - "In The End"
Rage Against the Machine - "Guerrilla Radio"
Judas Priest - "Breaking the Law"
Pantera - "Cowboys From Hell"
Sleigh Bells - "Bitter Rivals"
System of a Down - "Chop Suey!"
Alter Bridge - "Cry of Achilles"
Alt-J - "Left Hand Free"
Broken Bells - "Leave It Alone"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Higher Ground"
The Pretty Reckless - "Going to Hell"

Rolling Stone also namedropped Megadeth, but they aren't on the list, so take that as you will

Anyway, howbout that. Lots of good rock/metal songs in the list now. Sweet-o.

Repeats don't matter anymore

You've never played any of these songs like this

It's like turning your nose up at a Guitar Hero song being in Parappa the Rapper
