Wouldn't it suck if every now and then, your kart just randomly spun out? And they removed spinning out randomly.. along with everything that can make you spin out?

I doubt they would make such a radical change to a character. Adding a whole new transformation like thing would completely change the Diddy playstyle.

I actually think that the banana peel item and Diddy's Down B should still make people trip, since that'd actually be absolutely hilarious unlike the random trip s*** that goes on in the rest of the game.

They should keep tripping from attacks, i dont get why they'd remove that.

I don't mind it if certain attacks cause you to trip.

They should add the ability to tech tripping like a knockdown though. That could get people to not whine about it.

My friend said that tripping is awesome and he likes it because it provides realism to Brawl like it's possible to trip in a real fight from your opponent making you trip or you just tripping by yourself.

If tripping is techable like a knockdown, then there is no point in tripping.

Not that you're wrong, tripping is wrong. Diddy's banana should trip by design, but if tripping is just a graphical update of regular knockdown, it should be removed alltogether.

So, real tripping, or no tripping. I prefer no tripping, except for bananas, if bananas stay (they probably will).
At least everybody agree about no random tripping, and Sakurai already confirmed he removed it.

I don't mind if Diddy's banana's still cause tripping since his bananas are what gave him great stage control
