You all received the same PM with varying roles, right?
Inside it, I indicated a title, in red for scums and blue for townies.
THAT "role title" will be revealed once you have died, with the corresponding color. Nothing else will be revealed until the end of the game.

Exactly, he wouldn't have given away his role unless he's trying to trick us. But for now, I think I can trust DJ for now. What seems weird to me, is Believeblood's suspicious behavior.

I think his reason is that me and BB seem to agree on a lot of things. However, from my perspective, it seems as though this is a mere coincidence, or BB is mafia, trying to take someone whom he knows to be innocent down with him, so that the town will accidentally lynch me. He seemed to be more suspicious of him though, probably for these reasons. Either that, or for some reason, BB thinks I'm mafia.

Based on my previous games with BB, he is ALWAYS scummy. I quite literally mean always. What are peoples' opinions on getting him to claim now to prevent mishap later?

I would want to see a claim from Blood, but a lynch would be too risky atm. You don't want to rush to lynching when we still have until Sunday to make a decision.

If he claims, there's always the chance of a counter-claim, so even if he does claim, we wouln't know for sure. So what I think we should do, is lynch one of the counter-claims today. (assuming there is one) If he were to turn out to be town, then we have confirmed maf/third-party. If he turnes up scum, it would be a better scenario for the town as they would only lose one townie (whereas if the first of these were to happen, we lose two of our townies.

Actually, while on the subject of role reveals, what are your guys' opinions on having (one of) the investigative role(s) claim so that (one of) the protective role(s) can cover them tonight? The only potential issue that I can see with it is that if said protective role dies, then the investigative role is as good as dead. Is it a gamble worth taking?

That would be me then. That's one of the main reasons I wanted to wait for the next day and nl. I would be able to have accurate info on at least one person. Armed with the results of my investigation, and the actions of individuals during day 1 and night 1, we would be very likely to lynch mafia on day 2.
