Yeah, they really didn't dwell too much on the backstory parts. I noticed that they skipped Adrian's monologue about how he wanted to be like Alexander the Great near the end. _________________ spring break go shove it troll |

oh adding to my earlier post i'd like to say that the best parts of the movie would probrably be the ones with rorshack.

I saw it on Sunday, and I feel, though it was still awesome, it wasn't as awesome as it could've been...
Things moved a bit too fast, nothing much was explained (But I guess you're supposed to read the graphic novel first, anyway), and the 20 minute sex scene was severely too long... Rorschach FTW, BTW. yeah I found the sex scenes extremely annoying. The one with Dr. Manhatten was funny but godamnit silk spectre has sex with someone every 5 minutes. Meh, if you think about it, personality-wise, Rorschach is pretty much Batman. Just a bit more aggressive.. okay, a LOT more aggressive. Nite Owl's wimpy-ass attitude annoyed me, though.. and I agree that Silk Spectre was a slut. Dr. Manhattan's voice, however fitting it was, was also quite annoying. The Comedian and Rorschach were the only two that really didn't annoy me very much, but that's just me. I like how The Comedian thought. _________________ |

i love in the graphic novel, when spectre and night owl are talking about a old villain who was harmless would try to get beat up by them and when spectre asked what happened to him night owl says "well, he tried it on rorschach, and rorschach threw him down an elevator shaft..." i love that.
