Serene woke up, hearing all the others talking. She felt better and could sit up with minimal pain, however, she still couldn't stand up. She looked around, and opened one of Black King's saddlebags. "Where is it..." she muttered, searching through it "How could misplaced it..."
She stopped looking and sighed. "This is just great." she thought

Nechis awoke and sat up quietly, and looked around the room. He pushed himself off the floor groggily, and drank the last of his water, trying to get every last drop out of his container. He looked over at the others who were awake. "Morning." he said, and looked at the fire. A yawn escaped from his mouth. "How'd you guys sleep?"

By the time the others had woken up, Rana had crawled to the edge of the cave and sat there with his hands around his legs and his hood covering his face. Tania's blanket was off to the side. Rana looked at his hands. They were snow white and icy cold, like they always were, and Rana wondered if he was human any more. He never died. People died when they froze, when their blood stopped running. This was the first in a long time that he had come near; and it was from a tiny wound. An arrow. Rana thought of the others, how they were the things he feared when there was no logic to it. He c*** his head and a tear ran down his cheek. Rana didn't even know it was there.

Eton turned around and saw Serene was up and he approached her. She appeared to be looking for something, Eton wondered what it could be.

"Morning. You looking for something Serene. On another note, how are you feeling, you able to stand at all?"

Serene turned to Eton. "Oh it's nothing much. I was looking for just some supplies, I probably used them up already." she was in a slightly more cheerful mood than she was yesterday "But I feel much better today, I'm afraid I still can't stand without feelign any pain, but I can try."
She looked past Eton and saw Rana acting strange. "Eton, what's with him?" she asked, pointing out Rana

Rana looked up from behind his arms. The air around him pulsed and darkened before he stood, painfully slowly, with his hands against the back of the cave and his face still shrouded in his signature shadows.

Tania looked over to Tekun he was sleeping beside the fire, he looked so peaceful, she sighed. Tania decided to head into the morning light and soak all in the rays and warmth that it could provide. "Good morning" she said politely to everyone she passed, making sure not to make eye contact with Serene but said good morning anyways. She saw Rana sitting by himself, and touched him on the shoulder only to draw back quickly, he was icy. "Rana?" she asked worriedly "Are you alright?" The darkness that surrounded him did not trouble her, she didn't want someone else to die because of her lack of care.

"I'll help you along then. Glad to hear your feeling better." He said and turned to Rana, who was now covering himself in some kind of shadow. Eton got up and began to approach hesitently. Something was bothering Rana, he always did seem a bit off to him, but he was kind enough.

"Rana....everything alright?" He asked him as he approached slowly, unsure of how harmful the shadow was. Tania was already there right besides him, comforting him. He stopped and watched from where he was, half way from him and Serene.

Tekun stirred finally and looked over to Tara who seemed to be asleep yet. He looked over to Tania, who was up now and near Rana, who was covering himself in a shadow.

"Nothing." Charisma quickly muttered. "Just... Think. That's all." She got up, stretching out her arms. She looked up at the sky, then turned around to see the village. She sighed, sitting back down on the ground.

Serene turned her head towards the rest of the group. They were all looking at Rana, or most of them at least. She did want to see what was going on herself. She tried standing up, but a shot of pain run through her legs, and she quickly went down to the ground in pain. "Eton...could you help me stand up?" she asked him, looking at the cloud of shadow around Rana.

Black King woke up, and trodded around the group. He went out of the cave and looked out on the horizon, staring it down.

Rana looked to Tania and raised his head. He wiped a strand of hair from his eyes and met Eton's. Suddenly an image filled his mind. There was a blood red, dim light everywhere, with a silhouette of a thief in the center. The silhouette was black, but for a gold, sparkling little purse in one hand and sequined fancy shoes. Rana pushed the strange image from his mind and c*** his head again. The shadows lightened, but only slightly. "I'm... Fine." He whispered. It was odd to hear him speak; you could hear his voice however quiet it was.

Eton felt a prescence looking to his mind and he spaced out for a bit, took a step back and then held his head for a moment and shook it.

"Eton...could you help me stand up?"

He heard Serene's voice from behind and turned, she had fallen to the ground in an attempt to stand.

"Of course." He said and approached her and knelt down besides her.

"Lean on me, alright?"

Windy munched on grass until she noticed that Black King had come outside, he was always so grumpy, hardly ever playful at all. She whinnied lightly and flicked her tail playfully. "You know, you're pretty boring for a pegasi"

Tania sighed, slightly relieved "Well ok if you say so" she said to Rana. She remembered that she hadn't written a letter to her father since they had been at that village in the cold mountains, she would need to write one again later. Perhaps even let him know about Tekun, and her adventures, maybe even about the wondrous "mind-speaking" that Rana could do, she paused to wonder if any other mages could do it as well. "Well what shall we have for breakfast" said Tania politely "It is the most important meal of the day, we should not eat scantily"

Serene nodded and grabbed Eton's arm, tightly. She stood up and leaned on him. The pain shot up again, but it was less than before, as she was bearing less weight upon her legs. "I think this is good..." she told him, wincing a little at the pain. "...now could we go over to the others?" she asked him.

Black King looked around, and saw the other pegasus. He stared at her menacingly. "I was derived from a legendary Stallion that didn't show much feelings, and stood strong. I naturally have that trait. Where have you lived? On a ranch?"

Windy whinnied in a way that sounded like a laugh "No I was raised wild in the mountains until at a young age I was brought to my mistress" She then sobered "Well I guess that does explain your...serious at all times attitude" She resumed nibbling on the tufts of grass.
