It sure is funny how the moment he got what he always wanted he only turned into a bigger one. And now Itachi and him are chatting and it probably doesn't mean a damn thing.
I haven't seen such an idioticly misguided attempt at moral ambiguity in a comic book since Spiderman One More Day.

But atleast he's getting stronger especially since if that "Sasuke will get a time stop justu" speculation is true but I doubt it.

If ending the impure world resurrection is the only way to stop Madara, it ill be the biggest cop out of this whole war.

Also, frankly getting Kabuto to drop the Justu should be a cinch for Itachi. A little tsuciomi should end this in a snap

In controlled doses it could easily be a persuasion tool, that and Shisui's sharingan taught us it can override anything and everything else. Itachi's may not be on the same level, but it can be done.

Actually, that might force Itachi and Sasuke to fight again, considering Itachi's complete override is "Protect Konoha"...

yeah but kabuto just absorbed orochimaru, and stole (and improved upon) all of his research and s***
considering how much orochimaru hated itachi you can bet kabuto has some way around his genjutsu, at the very least to a point where it would only be useful in battle

I have to admit, I never guessed it would be Kabuto of all people who would end up having an evil sage mode... But to be honest, it was actually pretty well forshadowed.
I mean, he's spent the last day barely moving, meaning he's been picking up chakra like mad, and he did show subtle signs of a dragon motif (Mostly because of Manda 2.0's dragon-like appearance).

I also guess that lightning blast really SHOULD have killed Karin. Damnit, with Tobi's comment on the red hair, how did I not make that connection sooner? >,<

Eh, in spite of this discovery of how powerful he is, I don't think he'll be taking Tobi's spot. I'm really enjoying him playing such a big baddie, and yes, he's so crazy even Tobi called him a madman, but still, I think he'll be defeated, quite possibly killed, by the time this fight with the Uchiha brothers is over.
He's truly turned into one of the greatest examples of nobody to nightmare ever along the way though. From the medical nerd in the corner who got punted by Naruto's first rasengan to being able to effectivly take on two Susanoo equipped Uchiha. Unbelievable.
