I got a couple:
-Change the sound whenever Bandana Dee uses his parasol to the sound it makes in Kirby Super Star/Ultra. It's kind distracting to hear Sparking effects whenever he uses it, since his Beam rod already uses that sound effect.
-Change the effect of Bandana Dee's side Smash from Beam Sparks to water spouts, to reflect how Parasol works in official Kirby games.
-Make Bandana Dee have some squishing sounds whenever he moves, lands, etc. It would be kinda funny to hear that when you're playing (Waddle Dees also do the same in the anime and Epic Yarn)
-Give a Timer to Sandbag Soccer. The mode looks rad but soccer isn't soccer without a timer

My Suggestions
-Have the damage numbers explode into little pieces when a fighter gets KO'd, like in Brawl and Smash 4
-In the CSS, before selecting a character, display them on the screen while hovering over them
-Have the character HUDs be in the center of the screen instead of on the left hand side (They can stay on the left in Training mode)
-Have Icons for stocks instead of just a number showing how much you have left
-More crowd cheering sound effects
-Have a trail of smoke and fire follow Mario & Luigi's fireballs

My suggestion?

Do what SSB Wii U and 3DS did with team battles - make an outline in the color of the team instead of forcing a color swap - I really despise the color swaps in SSF2 (for the most part). I always pick default colors for characters and would like to use that in Team Battles.

Usually in Smash bros, the music stops or fades out when the match is over. It should do the same in smash flash 2.

I think it's time to fix the mode descriptions to say "X-minute KO fest!" and "Y-man survival test!" once and for all.

Those are essential, dude.

How much effort would it take to put in a 4:3 window option?

'Cuz I have a brand new computer that runs the game perfectly, I'm talking four players on Stadium 3 at 30FPS on High settings, but for financial (and nostalgic) reasons, I'm reusing an old monitor for it. And on it, the Widescreen display doesn't look right since, on a smaller monitor, there are black bars at the top and bottom.

So... seeing how some people are begging for a resprite of some of the characters while another half think those characters' sprites look good enough and don't want them changed, I decided to make this:

Basically, I edited the colors of some of the characters so they stp using the gritty and dark Brawl colors and use their Smash Bros for 3DS & Wii U colors instead. I personally think the only thing that needed to change for Ness and Yoshi are the colors. I also included Kirby here because his Brawl look is also pretty outdated. Fortunately I only needed to change the colors of his feet.

Not bad. Not bad at all. However, I personally think Yoshi may need an overhaul on his sprite altogether, but that's just me.

That's...not bad actually. I would be pretty satisfied with something like that. I'm especially glad that you pointed out Kirby's need for a minor touchup.
Though it wouldn't work for the likes of Sonic and Tails though, those two definitely need a resprite.

One thing's for sure; that many characters most likely aren't getting a resprite unless a lot more spriters apply to the dev team.

If you guys want that much spriting work done, do it your-freaking-self. In fact, don't even apply to the dev team first. Just go ahead, stop wasting time, and start making sprites already, then submit it for review after you're satisfied with it. I'm sure the devs would appreciate the extra muscle.

Okay, we get it that you don't like those kind of suggestions. There's a way to ask people to stop and this is not the one.
Besides, I sent my application like one year ago and I haven't got any responses yet.
