Looks like Fortnite gets a new competence. And a big threat for its popularity.

Audience retention is crucial in determining whether this thing is a "fortnite killer". Too early to tell if it's competition or just EA doing a thing By the way, "x killer" games rarely succeed. Usually the public just moves on to a different x after a few years |

Tried it out on the insistence of friends and found it only okay. Gameplay wise I wouldn't even really compare it to Fortnite, it's more like Overwatch's 3v3 Deathmatch with some of the former's elements sprinkled in here and there (such as the battle bus and the menu layout)
Performance is pretty bad though. Even with everything at the lowest settings it still ran like garbage, and I know for certain my laptop isn't the issue as all my other high end multiplayer games run flawlessly In any case it didn't hold my attention for very long, not that battle royale games were my cup of tea in the first place _________________

Not gonna lie, first impressions of an hour left me disappointed.
It looks bad to say the least, the performance isn't great, and it seems like it's trying to be both Overwatch and PUBG at the same time.
