1and1 is really complicated. I don't know how to make a forum in html though.

Just going off your post there, it sounds like you're not really familiar with site creation, cause 1&1 is pretty simple as web hosts go. If you don't know what FTP or SQL are, I'd recommend learning more about those more before proceeding. Also, you might want to think what you're going to do with a forum. Do you actually have enough people? Do you have something that will attract a crowd to your site? A forum gets pretty boring when you only have 10 or so people posting.

Installing the forums doesn't actually require HTML. Here's what you need to do.
1) Set up a SQL database. You can do this by going to your 1&1 control panel. There should be a link to Manage/create SQL databases.
2) After creating the database, keep the window containing it's info open. You're going to need it for setup.
3) There are many different forum systems out there. Some of the more popular ones being Invision and phpbb3. If you feel like it, do a google search to see which ones you'd like. If you just want to run phpbb3, go to this link and download the forum files.

After you've finished downloading follow the Installation guide.

If you can't follow the guide, research the terms you're confused with. Google is your friend. You'd be amazed how many guide there are for doing things out there.
