the Ryu theme looks more like stage thing than an actual fanfare.

Edit: I finally understand how to change between the fire tome and wind one with Robin.
I know it's simple. I'm just really dumb. Yes, I know it's been 6 months since we have the game.

It's actually 5 months, 4 for Japan.

I noticed that Mewtwo retains its spoken lines in its victory pose but only in Japanese.

Mastering Robin is one of the hardest characters to learn IMO, he/she's got so much lag after everything, but it's natural once you learn how to manipulate the frames after each attack.
Best results for me is to practice planning what you and your opponent can do ahead by about 3-5 seconds, let them come to you and follow up with jabs, grabs into throws, that lines it up for you to set up a combo using the tomes and/or levin sword. It's really fun. My room mate hasn't beaten my Robin yet.

in my experience Robin is rather easy to learn and even easier to play
just throw out arcfires and your opponents will walk right into them 100% guaranteed no exceptions

Sounds like something Robin would say themselves lol.
My friends play Robin, but I'm not sure how to feel about the character.

Do you watch a lot of Nario playing them?

These files are directly from the game. The sounds that are there are most likely placeholders for when they decide to make remixes. Developers do that all the time when it comes to music. This isn't a "is it real or fake" leak, it's been spotted by many people through rom dumping. We have to wait and see what nintendo does with them, but it's more likely than not that we're getting these fighters.

Edit: Also, looking at the latest update to the reddit post, it seems we may also be getting either Dreamland 64 or Fountain of Dreams as a dlc stage if those kirby songs have anything to say about it (FoD is my favorite melee stage I want that one so much)

I would love both, but to be honest I would prefer Dream land 64.

I have no problem playing with Robin. The wind/fire thingy was the only thing I was wondering about him tbh.
I feel you Kuro but I prefer having a strategy all the time. Being 2-3 three steps ahead in planning is always good.

And now Robin's neutral A wind is Universe-tier thanks to the update. He's a lil mac 2.0, racking up to 19-21 damages.
It feels so goooood killing with neutral A hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I never really liked the wind one because people would just jump away from it really easily so the final hit would never connect.
Now, I want to marry that tome. Like, once you do it they're stuck in it until the last hit. Against pikachu it's really op. You get a 0% to 19-21% just by pressing A for the wind tome

Should I try Robin out?

Wtf is Nario
I've played the game every day since it launched, I study each character, I've only got Greninja, Mewtwo, and Mii brawler and swordfighter to figure out thoroughly, everyone else I've got down decently well. The basics, at least. Robin used to be one of my mains but I dropped him/her to focus on the entire roster instead of a couple characters. (not trying to brag, sorry if it sounds like that)

Nairo is a smash player who mains Robin along with Dark Pit, Pit and Zero Suit Samus in Smash 4 duh.

Edit:Do you not watch tournaments where high level player play these characters and watch them so you can see how to use the characters more effectively?

I do that with my mains, but I still play with them and use them effectively.

Edit:For any Pikachu players.

Personally, I prefer not watching people and end up trying to play like them I prefer playing with my own style than to follow combo order that everyone knows I'm don't want to be a pawn of some scripted fate. I did learn a few things from Nairo since he was the only Robin user I knew. Well anyway I'm not a competitve player
