YES!! zelos is my favorite. i loved using him instead of lloyd and kratos.

It's funny how Zelos and Kratos have completely the SAME MOVES (excluding Judgement).

That's intentional, so that way depending on who you choose, when the time comes. you don't miss out on a character. Not because they were lazy

I know that, it's just drake likes Zelos's horizontal-like attacks more than Kratos's vertical-like attacks (I don't mean techs/artes).

Not to mention there was an EX skill for more hits in a combo.

So the maximum of hits he could reach was around 6 before using any artes.

actually he couldn't use any artes after the 3rd hit in the combo.

and i dont think he looks cooler its just that i like his personality more.

Zelos is faster, if I'm right. And if I remember correctly, Kratos's Victory Light Spear almost always misses on one of the attacks.
When Zelos is killed, the game is also far more quiet IMO.
And to follow it up, Zelos is my favorite overall character, so I wouldn't get rid of him. =v

Zelos LOOKS faster. And why use Victory Light Spear? Light Spear Cannon is so much better.

And to the others, the EX skill is called Slasher, and you can't use a tech after the third hit. There is, however, a EX combo that lets you uses techs after the sixth hit.

PS3 PS2 Wii and DS are posibilities, but I would rather DS right now.

I highly recomend Tales of destiny DC do to it being one of the better ones in the series or you could try out
Tales of Hearts since personally TOH is like TOD portable but more balenced.

For PS3 you could wait for either xillia or graces, but there release dates are currently unknown.
PS2 has a ton of good tales games. I recommend Tales of the Abyss,but you might have trouble finding it.
On DS there are no tales games in English. If you can look past the language barrier though, then there are tales of heart or tales of innocence.
For the wii there is tales of symphonia dawn of the new world,but it's not as good as some other tales games on the different platforms.
