Note- The part of an explosion that kills you isn't the fire' it's the force of the blast that's most fatal. Fire only adds to it.

Robert_Russell was refering to the version of Odin in Final Fantasy VII which, when used against a powerful enemy, throws a javelin. Otherwise it uses a that sword to slice them in half regardless of how much health they had.

Again, my footrest takes the katana and falls on you backwards w/it, thus you die.
Then he respawns.
I experience momentary discomfort, ie hearing high-pitched mosquitos, and having my footrest disappear.
Then he comes back.
I recapture the footstool, and still hold the throne.
