Say, you all do know that Pichu's Up Special in SSF2 DOES attack opponents (unlike in Melee), right?

Heck, if I'm being honest, I think Pichu's version deals even MORE knockback than Pikachu's version.

Speaking of which, does anyone know EXACTLY what Pichu's Up Special is called in SSF2? I'd say Agility, but the move he performs in SSF2 actually ATTACKS opponents (like Quick Attack), whereas in Melee, Agility didn't do any damage, let alone knockback. Unlike Quick Attack from Pikachu, which did both if I remember correctly.

Maybe Volt Switch? (I'd still prefer a triple damageless agility for safe recovery/movement instead of more offense though)

Volt Switch, huh? Not a bad choice. Still, in terms of offense, I feel like Pichu ESPECIALLY needs it.

Also, does anyone else get the feeling that the whole reason Pikachu had a number of his attacks altered in Beta was because of Pichu being added?

I'm pretty sure it is still "agility", just because it got different properties doesn't automatically mean it got a different name

It's a good thing the devs are still ironing him out. Seriously, I REALLY don't want EVERYTHING about Pichu (idle, taunts, etc.) to just be nothing but copy-and-paste material from Pikachu.

Heck, Pichu would probably be the ONLY character in SSF2 with four taunts (if the devs do what Melee did with him, giving him a different taunt depending on the direction he's currently facing).

Oh, but don't worry. Pichu DOES fall asleep when he crouches.

Sorry, mistake on the first thing about taunts. As you can see in that post, I changed it from only Pika's taunts to "EVERYTHING" about Pikachu.
