can't combo well, can't utilise your speed amazingly well in neutral, your aerials are very bad in neutral, can't combo into knee well all the things which falcon excels at aren't very effective in this MU
EDIT: I should note that, at the same time, the matchup isn't bad for falcon. I just really hate playing it.

I just wish there were more skilled Falcon players. I know that the Falcon Punch comes out extremely quick and kills at 60% guys. That doesn't mean you have to yolo it even after you find out that Mart has a counter.

Play against people in the IRC, practice tech skill (quick ledgegrabs, just maneuvering, dash-cancelling, pivoting, whatever), lab certain moves and combos. Basically the same for everyone.

for techskill, practise these things: - Instant uairs
- Stomp -> knee with any DI
- Dash-cancel pivot (into aerials and grabs)
- Spamming SHFF aerials (without accidentally doing other moves e.g smash attacks (harder than it looks))
- Refreshing invincibility at ledge with instant sideB
- Techchase regrabs on reaction
- Instant ledgegrab by using the PC drop AND the dash version of the PC drop
- Stomp -> ledgecancel -> ledgegrab (for style/option coverage)
for combos/techskill practise, play vs. level 9 CPUs or just spam techskill in practise mode. I play a few games against random lvl. 9 CPUs every day and my combo game has improved drastically for everything else, just practise matchups and playing against good opponents online.

@Jammy thanks for the advice
Strategy against Lloyd? One that down smashes then up tilts and waits for you to run at him so he can forward smash

Bait out the forward smash by dashdancing/foxtrotting then 0-death him off a stomp.
Alternatively, jump over him and reverse Falcon Punch. Kappatain

don't bother, fsmash is not punishable unless you're already jumping over him. basically every time you touch him, you gotta 0-death him. neutral is really hard - I just bait & punish. baiting out a fair is aight, baiting out dash attack/sideB is also good. stomp to punish dash attack and sideB is pretty good. everything else, just nair/grab.

After playing a bunch of this MU, I find it annoying how easily Lloyd actually goes underneath nair lol. I think that straight grabs are the best punish in terms of chance of landing it. SH nair/Dair bith go over grounded side-b which is nice. Then Of course you gotta kill him off of that, it might be a while for your next opportunity to kill him :/

oh god the Lloyd mu really is terrible
I knew it was bad, but I've never seen the disparity with my own eyes. The friend I usually play with does play Lloyd, but I know all of his tendencies so his gameplay is easy to dissect.
I introduced a couple people to SSF2. One of them decided to play Lloyd (because of character loyalty), and while it was his first time playing SSF2 he has competitive experience from past smash games. I barely beat his Lloyd with my Falcon. Interestingly enough, the other guy plays Goku and barely loses to the Lloyd, meanwhile I easily 3 stock the Goku. Man its a gross MU, awful to play.
My Falcon >>> the Goku the Lloyd > the Goku but my Falcon > the Lloyd

it's pretty dumb. I like to dashdance really close and just nair whenever they're not throwing out a hitbox. gotta play really aggressive imo

lloyd is impossible (70-30 or maybe worse idk)
all falcon players need a mandatory secondary to beat this piece of s***
coming from a man who's been trying to learn the matchup for many months you can't.
welcome to the sheik/falcon master race
