It may be me, but I think you should try to cut down some unnecessary colours. I read somewhere that it is advised that you use no more than 4 tones for a colour (2 light, 2 dark) except for the characters with simpler designs like Kirby, Jiggly, Pika, etc.

This guy doesn't uses as many colors as I tought.

I honestly prefer the look of the original Robin Sprite, mainly because it shows a bit more detail. The head on the new one looks good, but I can't really see the location of the eye. The colors on the new one are better. In fact, all I see that needs to be done in the original is change the head and the colors. The sword, as you prolly know, doesn't look like Robin's sword. It's too skinny and pointed. The sword is somewhat correct in term of size, since it's smaller than it's Awakening counterpart like in smash 4. Weapons can be hard to replicate, so I understand having troubles with the sword. Try making it vertically upward then rotating and refining it. The results are usually good enough to be presentable.

The other sprites look good. I can't really say anything about those. Keep up the good work. ^^
