who uses robin? I have been thinking about dropping her I actually just talked about how I picked her up. Her slow running speed and grab range kinda hinders her imo.

i used to play a lot of Robin, i still use him as a pocket because i'm really comfortable using him.

someone in bracket the other day destroyed my Sheik and then told me that he has a lot of Sheik MU experience. but uh, he only won the first game. i counterpicked to Robin and won the next two.

Wait so you won a robin vs sheik matchup? That's actually amazing shiek can give robin a lot of trouble due to her fast neutral.

The thing is, with the latest patch, Robin gets more reward off a grab than she used to. It's a midpercent combo throw that can get you free jabs, up tilts, and eventually aerials. Plus, you can artificially extend Robin's grab range via roll-cancelling her grab à la Brawl's Glide Tossing, which is useful.

To deal with Robin's slow speed you can do a few things:
1 - Foxtrot
2 - Approach from the air
3 - Approach from the air and use B-Reverse Thunder + Air Dodge to give you a direction air dodge.

Though, if you're playing Robin, you should be making your opponent approach you, not the other way round.
