If Namco gets a Tales rep, id like to see the Flare Bottle, but thats unlikely lol.

Mario Series:
Sling Star - Turns the holders Uspecial into a star launching jump
Ice Flower - Acts much like Fire Flower, but spews cold air instead of fire lol (could either act like Ice Climbers Blizzard attack, or just have it shoot small ice balls that have a chance to freeze opponents solid)
Firebar - Replacing the Hothead, throw it somewhere and it starts rotating much like the firebars from SMB1, length should either be random or fixed.
Bullet Bill Cannon - Acts something like the Cracker Launcher, shoots bullet bills (obviously) the last shot should be a missile bill (homing)

Kirby Series:
Pep/Peppy Tonic (added to list of food items, should be rare) restores 20% damage

I cant really think of that many items for other series lol.

An assist trophy idea: Venus Fire Trap - the classic Piranha Plant variety that spews fireballs. Should stay stationary and fire at the closest oppenent. Fireballs travel slowly, at about the same speed as Mario's.

oh another one lol: Ptooie - Another Piranha Plant variety that constantly blows a spiked ball upwards. The AT version should be the walking variety that walks back and forth randomly (or follow the closest opponent) behaving the same way as in SMB3.

Speaking of items, what about AA mines? (more noticeable mines that can float in the air, like an explosive bumper. )
Before you guys think that this is too unbalanced, items are more for fun, and also, it would be a rarer version of the original mine.

Although I don't really know any good item ideas, I think the items that were in SSBB, like bananas and the cracker launcher, should be gear toward different Nintendo series instead of being so generic. Like, the bananas should have faces like in the Mario Kart games, and the craker launcher should be a launcher from one of the Kirby games, like Kirby Air Ride or Kirby: Return to Dreamland.

That and the Homerun Bat should have been from the Mother series

In SSB4, I hope the (logos, faces, etc.) appear on the items.

Yeah, I would like that as well. Since we've gotten that out of the way, what about other stages? I know there was a small talk of a stage not long ago, but do you guys have other ideas?
I'll start it off...

I would love to have a stage (much in Silph Co. in SSB) where pokemon would appear out of nowhere and attack, except more unpredictable and in more locations. Like a Unova Field stage or something. Not the best idea, but I'm not that creative.

Id love to see a Bowser Castle themed stage, Bowser needs his own home stage. And also a Mario Galaxy or NSMBWii themed stage for Mario. Possibly a Super Princess Peach one for Peach, and an updated Luigi's Mansion stage, to tie in with Luigi's Mansion 2.

Actually a nice idea i had for a stage (probably Mario themed) would be an underwater stage, where there is constant low gravity, and slower movement, could make for some interesting battles, especially with the special mode's having low gravity and slow movement stacked on top of that. Doubt that would be done, what do you guys think?

What do I want to see? An actual footage of Smash 4.

Heh, we wont see that for like maybe a year or so, we would be lucky to see something from it at E3 this year but i doubt it. Maybe next year. Maybe this E3 they may finally confirm what its name will be ...

I'd love to see them do that with a game they haven't even started production on.

You know, with Nintendo, who knows what's going to happen next year. If they had SSB4, LM2, MP9 and the Wii U this year, I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled something like that out of nowhere. And who knows, maybe they started creating ideas for SSB4 already, becuase, you know, Nintendo is very secretive, even about Mario Party!

Imagine All-Star mode. :3

Yeah, All-Star mode is going to be epic. Co-op All-Star mode would be awsome too.

They already said that they were going to start after the making of Kid Icarus: Uprising. Truthfully I would've liked to have SSB4 first, but I'm getting that just to see the potential of Internet-based matches on handheld. Gotta admit though, although the storyline doesn't seem all that exciting, the gameplay looks amazing.

Getting back on topic, the All-Star Mode should definitely get a revamp, especially if many other characters are gonna be introduced like we're suspecting.

It's gonna be epic.
Especially if there's more than 40 characters.
