School is just a thing where it makes you extremely tired in the morning.
It said on the page that I could Sprite, do some acting, and one more thing I forgot about. I mean, I think Spriting is hard. And as for acting, I don't even have a good mic for one, nor I can act. Flash is getting dropped by pretty much every major browser really soon and nobody takes it seriously anymore, so yes, it's a terrible career choice.
It's debatable whether HTML5/JS dev is viable, since the industry is still young and the JS scene is getting crazier by the minute. I definitely advise to stay away from VR development tho. well flash as a platform, yeah. but AS3 as a language is still pretty nice. better than js language wise imo the AIR runtime and SDK gives AS3 the things it needs to make fast desktop games and applications, so i wouldnt say being an AS3 programmer is a terrible career choice. not that i would choose it lol. C# and C/C++ devs make that $$$ ya feel me
i'd say HTML5/JS developers have a lot of good oppurtunities, especially since microsoft made typescript, so i wouldnt be afraid to be an HTML5/JS dev if i wanted that as a career. JS only has room to grow _________________ early 2k nostalgia mode |

Definitely! I loved C# (although ASP.NET and its terrible compatibility with JavaScript/JQuery can go die in a fire). I'm more into J2EE but C# definitely has a lot going for it. And I pray for the day where PHP stops sucking. _________________ Avatar and signature pics by Semicolon. |
