Twilight Princess HD looks exactly the same as the Wii version. Why would I buy it when it appears that nothing was changed. Even Wind Waker HD, despite using all the same art assets, at least used a new lighting engine to make everything look prettier. But with Twilight Princess HD, we're not even getting THAT. I am so disappointed at the total lack of effort...

damn TPHD was pretty underwhelming

i did kinda like how it looked like a painting in-gameplay but that could have just been the stream having bad quality

It is a lot cleaner looking. People had their expectations set too high. Wind Waker just had bloom up the a** and changed some things. Not all that much better than the original. I'm sure there's more than just the amiibo to it, he said they'll go into more detail later.

If they had features more significant, they would've opened with those. That would've gotten people excited

They only change is that they cleaned the vaseline off of the lens. Nothing else.

Higher resolution textures? More trees to make the hyrule field feel a bit more natural and closed off? I don't think the resolution is the only thing they're changing. Just wait.
