Adding Pochi, TOWK and Dephius to the OP.

We will be commencing shortly with 12 players: give me a while to get the bracket sorted out, formatting etc.

Twelve gather across the table, all in anticipation in the still air of the dusty arena, war and weather-beaten. The usually rabid spectators are now at a standstill, and the eerie silence does not do anything to calm the mood down, and the twelve glare at each other.

Winning means eternal fame and glory. Losing means confinement to the dark depths of losing. Who likes losing, anyway?

The announcer, a man clearly in his old age, has done this many times before, but not in an event of this magnitude. One more, a giant leap for the advancement of this event. Truly awe-inspiring. His black suit, characteristic of the times, reflects the seriousness of the current situation.

"Gentlemen."

He pauses, taking a moment to straighten his glasses.

"Let the games begin."

Doqtor Kirby(Heart) defeats Kyuubit by default, as Kyuubit does not submit an action
