I feel like Ultra Instinct Dee's side special should be Parasol Drill instead of the spear throw. I can't explain it but something about performing a side special that makes you stop moving to the side freaks me out unnecessarily. And a down special that isn't stationary.


Other than that, Bayonetta Dee is a good character, especially if you know how to do short-hop attacks. For ultimate salt, try doing short hop into back air near the edge of the stage.

And don't play on the Devil's Machine.

BD in 1.1 hasn't changed much, however he does have some key changes. His recovery is a little different. His jumps were buffed a little, but his up b was nerfed a little. I think that this is a positive change for BD because taller jumps are more versatile than a taller up b. Another change is Bandana Dee's dash attack. It has crazy range now, but looks disgusting. It can put enemies off guard but I personally prefer his previous dash attack. Dair was also changed, and now can spike. Adding a spike to BD makes him even better, and that was a great change imo.

In conclusion, I want to say that I think Bandana Dee was buffed this update, and i think he has chances of being high tier when all this update hype is done and we are coming to conclusions on tier lists.

I see my name being brought up here, and honestly i wanna apologize for all the s*** and mean spirited stuff i have said regarding this character and the people who worked on him.
I was an absolute prick regarding this whole thing, and honestly I blame myself for all the toxicity that i spawned by never shutting up about this.
I still follow the game but i don't want to discuss more regarding the whole thing in fear i make things worse.
I'd be glad he has this D-air now, but honestly with all the shady stuff i have said regarding this, i honestly wish i never complained about these things so nobod had to suffer.

- Side Tilt - back thrust
- Down Tilt - slide
- Up Air - sky thrust
- Old Down Air - windmill
- New Down Air - moon drop
- Side Special - spear toss
- Up Special - waddle copter
- Side Smash - parasol swing
- Down Special Ground - parasol drill
- Down Special Air - parasol dive
- Up Throw - circus throw
- Shield Stance - parasol guard
- Down Throw - that planet breaking minigame
Also Down Smash and Neutral Air are perfect
This is cool, but why is the beam ability in there so much?
Why doesn't waddle copter let your fly?
Why can't I do spear barrage in the air, or charge my spear toss into triple spear toss?
Why is his back air a kick?
I don't mean to be rude but these are what I would do for his moveset:
- Jab - spear thrust, spear thrust, multispear attack, pinpoint thrust
- First jab, second jab, then a rapid jab, then a final hit
- Side Tilt - back thrust
- Up Tilt - sky thrust
- Down Tilt - slide
- Dash Attack - parasol drill
- Neutral Air - spear spin
- Like you currently have
- Forward Air - spear thrust
- Back Air - back thrust
- Up Air - sky thrust
- Down Air - moon drop
- Side Smash - parasol swing
- Up Smash - chumbrella
- Down Smash - parasol twirl or parasol spin (Kirby Battle Royale)
- Neutral Special - spear toss
- Can be charged for up to three spears
- Aerial version can be mashed for spear barrage
- Side Special - gale thrust
- Can be charged to lunge farther (kind of like Ichigo)
- Up Special - waddle copter
- Can be charged for longer flight
- Can still fly when uncharged
- Down Special - parasol shield
- Reflector
- Down Special air - parasol dive
- Grab Animation - IDK
- Pummel - IDK
- Forward Throw - the animation of kirby hitting pitch with his parasol in Dream Land 3
- Back Throw -
- Up Throw - circus throw
- Down Throw - that earth braking minigame
- Your current one
- Final Smash - waddle dee army

Honestly, Bandana Dee might need a few nerfs, because Bayonetta Dee might be getting the Sm4sh Cloud treatment. Here are my ideas for B-Dee's nerfs:

1. U-Smash does less damage each time it's used.

2. B-Air needs some hitboxes removed.

3. Parasol Twirl has less range.

4. Waddle Copter cancels out if B-Dee is hit from below. (Since he's vulnerable there.)

I hope the devs give Bandana Dee these nerfs and buff the rest of Bayo-Dee's attacks.

Waddle Copter already sucks as a recovery, Why nerf it?.same with down-b, it's super slow.

To answer the recovery thing, Waddle Copter does not suck as a recovery, it works just fine. I tried it when I had SSF2 and it works. And for the nerf, Bandana Dee's invulnerable when below the attack, so I want that to change.
