Unique doesn't always make a better constructed move-set or playstyle. His aura system is a very high risk/reward play-style. It's difficult for him to KO in based-from so, sometimes, he actually has to rely on taking damage in order to do more damage and get KOs; which is risky. Though his Aura at it's strongest is getting buffed, I think he should have someway to upgrade his power himself. Perhaps slight increases by successful landing Force Palms. And a bigger increase through countering with Double Team; since it's more predictable. It also be nice if Lucario didn't get his power decreased if he's ahead in stocks of his opponent(s). His based-form should be his weakest and he shouldn't be punished for winning.

That's Lucario's whole thing. He's the Aura Pokemon. That's like being disappointed that Sakurai brought back Kirby's move copying system. _________________

More or less, yes. He'd actually be less complicated and less X-Factor-like if the giant scale of his strongest aura form to his weakest be much narrower. That ways players wouldn't have to "start losing with him," in other to "start winning."
