If you knew the background to the other characters, the girl that was controlling the robot army was Endling's entry. Her powers - coupled with the Law of Talos - formed the large monster in the middle of the city. Eventually, it became too much and unleashed itself.

The mistake that Karl made was he underestimated how much time it would take to complete his task. He also didn't factor in the strong fighters he faced, nor the trickery that the power source known as the Law of Talos was capable of. He ran out of energy in Taitle's final moments, never acquiring the energy he desired to stay alive.

Just as in his early days, he lost his right hand to a foolish error. When he murdered the one girl that truly liked him, he didn't think of her power or what she was capable of. That's why his right hand was gray, if you take another look.

What about his messed up left eye and gray claw marks on his face? And who was that girl anyway...

Signs he's a statue, the "marks" probably just emphasizes it.

The left eye was another unfortunate mishap that included the girl. As for her, she was a person that often visited the s**** park and played violin. This is what originally got him into the instrument. However, the happiness ended when he decided to kill humanity. She was the first to go and caused terrible damage to him.

Poor Karl...

But I have noticed something throughout the story when it shows new characters, they don't give too much information about their backgrounds and what are they doing there in the first place! It's just random people that suddenly get involved in Karl's way and fight for no reason or just revenge.

Personally, my favorite characters are Rellick and Climber.

You have to remember they have their own side..

I know, but I would really like to learn more about their background. I mean, Karl isn't the only one that's competing in the tournament and wants the Law of Talos.
