So... Pikachu Libre just got confirmed for Pokkén Tournament. I have to say, I really would have preferred Hawlucha over another Pikachu.

Oh and also, the game is coming to Wii U this coming spring.

Seeing as the super move is flying press, which is more or less Hawlucha's signature thing, I'd say this more or less deconfirms Hawlucha which is overall super dissapointing. I really don't see why 2 Pikachus was neccesary but w/e.

I like Pikachu. A lot of people underestimate how good Pikachu is. Not just for Pokken but in actual pokemon.

Even Hawlucha aside I feel like there were a lot of good fighting type pokémon that they could've gone with rather than Lucha Pikre, like Sawk, Hitmontop, Hitmonlee or Mienshao.

I also kind of understand that they (possibly) wouldn't really go for these types of characters on the other hand though, since I think those characters might translate pretty plainly to this game seeing as pure fighting type moves revolve aroud punching and kicking. At least the other fighting types in the game (Lucario, Blaziken) have another type to spruce things up.

Either or I still hope Hitmonlee makes it in because he's super cool and they could do crazy stuff with his extendable legs.

I just saw this gengar get completely destroyed by this Pikachu.

pikachu is my favorite pokemon for a reason; its super underrated and cute
i mean yeah it has like no defense but it's special attack and speed are great, even without a light ball
my pikachu's attack was also great but i think that was thanks to super training

i always have pikachu in my party and it's never let me down so far tbh

i can get liking pikachu but
i doubt they'll put in Hawlucha who is very similar after having Pika Libre in the game.

also me saying "the pikachu nobody likes" wasn't referring to Pikachu as a whole but Pika Libre. mary poppins pikachu or nerd pikachu master race.

i wouldve been happy with one pikachu, thats what we were all prepared for i think lol
