Before you ask, I am aware of the fact that they have been done many times before. But anyway, I tend to make this a bit easier than most zombie RPs would probably be. The only problem I'm having is the setting. When I first thought of the RP, I thought about the setting being in a mall, which I scrapped quickly. Once I get a few positive reactions to the idea, then I'll explain everything else.

Edit:

The Setting: The entire game is set in the large quarantined city of New Verona, Vancouver, where the sightings of crowds of zombies is common. You may travel anywhere you wish in the city to look for weapons, survivors, and the like. Using certain items you find, such as chairs and tables, you will be given the opportunity to create barricades, which you obviously must defend to keep intact.

The Zombies: The zombies are much more stronger and aggressive then they usually would be, but they are still very slow and stupid, giving you an advantage against them. You will most likely find them increasing in their numbers in larger parts of the city, and more likely during the night, so be prepared when you face them.

Character Sheet:

Name:
Age: (optional)
Starting Weapon: (nothing too powerful, and is optional)
Agenda:
Background: (optional)

How about in a small village? If you are going for an "easier" zombie RP, having the characters in a place where there probably won't be much trouble.

That could work. I was thinking that it could be in a small town, which is nearly deserted. When I said easier, I ment that I wanted to give players an advantage by making it easier for them to find needed weapons. Currently, I don't know about that.

Well, maybe they're in a house where the (possibly dead) owner was crazy-prepared, and had a few firearms. Or maybe they're very good at improvised weapons, depends since I don't really know what you mean by making it easier, or maybe I'm half-tired again.

I guess could start them off in a safe location with a few starting weapons.

Cabin in a forest? Maybe the survivors were trying to wait it out in there?

Maybe they stumble upon a few hunting rifles...?

I wouldn't like the forest idea.

Nope, The city would be the best answer.

How about doing some crazy cross-over, and set the zombies during the cowboy's time?
I know that it sounds rather stupid, but I just though that it's a good way of combinating :

  • a good quantity of ammo and weapons.
  • a lonely town
  • not enough technology to kill all the zombies at once
  • a huge group of zombies

Do not make fun of me :eew: . I was thinking something more like "an indian (shaman)'s curse over the people who slaughtered his people. They killed his family and friends without mercy, so now he should kill each".

And here is the fun.
Maybe if they had a base, And some army support.

That would depend on the zombie's intelligence, don't you think?
If we are talking about the tipical brainless zombie (like the ones you can see in resident evil), or something more smart and which can think and act.
