The last game was only one console ago, and was rereleased for Switch. I don't think it's dead.

Yeah, if anything Castlevania's the series that needed this energy boost Coupled with Season 2 of that Netflix animation being announced and the upcoming Bloodstained game it looks to be a great year for our vampire hunters _________________
