NOTICE: REMEMBER THE LIST WAS FINALIZED VERY EARLY IN DEVELOPMENT. SO MY LIST HAS NO ONE AFTER 2007.
Luffy - It's going to happen. We can't deny it. Andy - Advance Wars stage planned very early, but scrapped. Maybe Andy to make up for that? Riku - Makes sense for another Kingdom Hearts rep. Riku was planned before the final character list, so maybe he's still there? Would also make up for the Battle Cards item. Sprite popped up from devs of him in his Kingdom Hearts 2 look. Cloud - Another character that was planned before the final list, I see his chances being pretty big. A sprite was also made for Cloud if he were to appear in SSF2 when the list wasn't finalized. Crono - Another character that was planned before the final list (this seems to be a trend now, huh?) No sprite to really support this. Except for a bad idle. Lip - Seems like this could be an obscure character the devs would've decided on. Mewtwo - Was on the planned list before the list was finalized. He had quite a bit of sprites done for him. Another Sonic Character - I don't know who, most likely Knuckles or Shadow. Both were also planned for for the game. Toon Link or Young Link - A choice that just makes sense. Falco - Makes a whole lot of sense. Pit - Skyworld stage leaked Ice Climbers - Ice Climbers stage leaked Snake - Planned in the past, had a sprite that needs a complete rework. Shadow Moses Island could be meant for Snake, not sure. Diddy Kong - I can see it happening, just needs to get a sprite that fits the style. King K. Rool - Honestly not sure about this, but he seems to have a chance. Another Mega Man Character - Not sure who, but Zero was planned. King DeDeDe - Makes a lot of sense. Lucas - Had a lot of support in Brawl, devs might've picked up on him. _________________      |

I feel like the common criticism of the anime characters being "out of place" in this game should be combated with by adding more anime characters, not just leaving it at the current 3. If you leave them at the current number of 3, of course they're going to seem out of place. If you add more, they wont stick out as much... at least, that's my take on it. So, I've decided to speculate anime people.
Sasuke: I understand why a rival like Vegeta was taken off the roster. Everyone in DBZ fights more or less the same way, which would make Vegeta's moveset not that different from Goku's. But Sasuke has a completely different way of fighting than Naruto, making him a good, unique addition. Luffy: I don't... I don't think I should say anything, because it's all been heard before. Freeza: Would be a much better DBZ rep than Vegeta, that's for sure. And he's a villain, which is a definite plus. _________________  |
