Kayton was randomly lounging on a giant floating platform, which was flying through space. He looked over to the side and saw a dude with a red jacket and a strange looking sword. Having lived in the Ferailo Tower his whole life, he had seen some pretty weird crap... so he didn't care.

"Hey. What's up?"

Ah, so this is my opponent.
jasonguy299 was standing atop a blue platform in the depths of cold space. He saw some guy stand on the other side of this celestial ground.
"Hey. What's up?"
"I'll tell you what's up. You and me in a duel. NOW."

Ah, so it's THIS guy. Well, two things can happen. One, I win, and my victory rate goes up, or he wins and he gets on the list of people who beat me. This works out either way.
"Alright. Should I go first?"
Kayton pulls a rainbow colored blade out of... nowhere?

WTF?! How the heck did he manage to pull a sword out of thin air?
Hey wait a minute... this is outer space. There is no air.
Wait a minute, then how can we breathe?!
... nah. Probably should focus on the battle.
"I think... NOT!"
jasonguy299 leapt forward. This person just looked like a normal guy, so he could probably kill him in one strike...
Then again, he did pull a rainbow-colored sword out of nowhere. Perhaps he should test his swordplay.
jasonguy299 attempted to throw multiple weak slashes at the enemy.

Kayton blocked them easily and attempted a slash at the dude's leg.
I might as well finish this quickly, perhaps I can just get him to submit?

"WHOA!"
Seeing that this person was talented at swordplay somewhat surprised him. It's a good thing he noticed the low sweep of his sword at his legs.
He quickly jumped up to avoid getting hit... and landed on his sword!
Thank God for shoes!
I shouldn't be too grateful, though. One hit at my metal bands and it would be all over!
...how much do I weigh again? 95 pounds or so?

Kayton watched as the guy dodged... kinda.
At the display of clumziness, he remarked, "Fail!" and attemted a salsh at the guy's left arm.

OOC: Isn't that technically impossible? I'm standing on your sword...

OOC: Oh, are you? hmm. Well, I did say "attempt"...

OOC: That was in the post BEFORE I landed on your sword.
I'll go ahead and disregard your post on trying to slash me in the arm.

IC: jasonguy299 hopped off the sword, for it was useless to try and use swordplay in his current position. This stranger would probably counter attack if he did try and slash him.
He decidd it would best to stun him and kick his head, which he promptly does.

Kayton sees a shoe coming towards his head and moves his head out of the... oh, no.
The blow connects, sending him reeling.
Kayton quickly recovers, saying, "I'll need to step this up a bit." He then pulls a shard of- whatever his sword is made of and throws it at the enemy.

Alright! Direct hit!
...hey what's that?
jasonguy299 noticed that a piece of the enemy's sword was flying at him! He tried to dodge in midair and...
unfortunetaly for him, the shard connects into him right leg.
"Ow!"
The shard is lodged in jg299's upper right leg, limiting mobility.
"Eergh... looks like I haven't given you a taste of my flarron. It tastes nasty, trust me."
He starts charging up flarron; the blow made him lose much of it.
"One dish of pain coming up."

Kayton realized that not only was this guy familiar, but he also figured out where he remembered this guy from.

"Hey! Aren't you that guy from the Sandbox? Last time I checked, there was a steam roller bearing down on you..."

jasonguy299 was way too focused on gathering flarron that he was practically disconnected with the whole world! And thus, he didn't hear the stranger.
After he filled to his max, jasonguy299 snapped out of it and got ready to unleash an attack.
"You're lucky I just learned this technique. You probably won't be able to stop it though.
CHILL STORM!
All of a suddn, red-colored hail started falling of the sky. Hopefully it would distract the enemy long enough to let him unleash an even more devestating attack he knew...
