Ride in a Taxi and hope to be on cash cab, I would watch an episode with an ugly Dutch kid and a water logged Haitian

Does she have any relatives that live back in Jamaica (Drug running, you know the deal)

Step aside boys, time for some useful advice.

If you're going to be there for a week there HAS to be a day where you guys simply spend the day wandering around Manhattan, sure it would probably be a good idea to have a general idea of where you guys would like to go (so you aren't wandering aimlessly), but the experience of the walk is the most important part. You could enter stores on a whim if you see something cool inside, or you could try some random restaurant that looks like it makes good food, it'll be an urban adventure of sorts. Since it's New York there's usually something that catch both of your interests...or that you both find weird and can laugh about it later.

The cherry on top to this type of day(...if your feet aren't killing already lol) would be a walk through central park or really any park that looks nice at sunset and or nighttime (before the crazies come out....>.>) It's romantic and you guys can just sit on a bench or a rock or a statue and simply talk about the crazy stuff that happened that day. There'll be less tourists and if gets chilly you guys can cuddle kinda.

Then you guys could take the bus/taxi back to her place feeling exhausted BUT you'll feel a great sense of accomplishment or something at the sheer amount of things you guys did.

If you guys happen to be the picture taking type of couple then you guys can bring a camera along too, and then look at all the random pictures taken throughout the day when you guys get home/or on the ride back home.

It's perfect! She enjoys to simply stroll, and it'll offer us an opportunity to both be new somewhere, instead of one guiding the other as if you paid them to tour you around. We could start from the hotel and walk from there... 'scuse me gents, I have some plans to draw up!
