this is my first time posting so don't expect it to be good, Also I made sure that I was the only one that posted this. I think I am... I don't know
So my sister and I were just playing some Smash Flash with all Yoshi , No items, Hazards on, and Team Damage (Don't ask about our dumb rules), when something peculiar happened,
After my Yoshi died (I was LOLZ), My sister ( ): ) tried to beat the 2 other Yoshis when all of a sudden, I came back to life. After I beat the Yoshis we somehow lost. ( I'm guessing because the game thought I was still dead, but also alive)

This is a feature in all the Smash Titles: You can take/share a stock from your teammate by pressing Start.

Basically this, yeah.
Not sure why the game counted as you losing, though.
That's pretty strange.

Possible because the game still counted me as dead, It does happen in most other games.
