I think the most important change is to make his tipper hitboxes work, especially on dair. Then I can see marth becoming a much better character.

Tippers work, the problem is that apparently Marth's hitboxes were drawn weird so he's getting a fix in the next patch. The other thing is that the main smash games use circle hitboxes but SSF2 uses square hitboxes, this can make certain attacks weird to space.

that's pretty much what I meant.

Marth is sooo good in the patch now!!
He can hit ken combos like its nothing but the best thing is that he has a guarenteed tipper f-smash on so many competitive viable stages!!!!!!
I gladly welcome this Marth with open arms :]

Marth's a lot better now. Tipper dairs aren't that hard to hit anymore, and he feels like he has more combos. The dair really gives him a decent finisher, which he didn't have apart from fsmash.

Does anyone use dash dance to reverse Shield Breaker as a mixup?

Reverse Shield-Breaker is sort of bad idea. I've tried a few times and it's better to just do the attack toward your opponent.

I sometimes do a jump Shield-Breaker after a low hitting angle move, or when I predict my opponent will full-jump towards me. The forward coverage it provides ahead of Marth is pretty good to out-range most aerials.

Haha I've been holding on to this tech as a way to punish aggressive approaches, if you use it the same way you would wavedash back -> fsmash.

Can anyone tell me how people are able to spike when they are online because I've had it done to me a couple times and when it happens I just stare in pure amazement.

It used to be a tiny hitbox, but it's much easier to hit now from last patch. If they get a read on your DI it's not too bad to pull off.

It is most easy to perform at Marth's backside.
