Mario Kart DS was there already, and the other appearances, not including Nester's star tropics references, and Rob's small appearances, ROB trumps him by 1 - 2 appearances;
But saying Nester isn't important to Nintendo history is wrong.

I think the vast amount of people who first heard of him with that April Fools post is an adequate counter point to that

My brother is a huge supporter of Nester for some pretty ok reasons.

IMO it's a better idea than the 'duck hunt dog' as a character, but if he was an assist that'd really fit.

People on SmashBoards are speculating him as a playable character. He's strangely enough got a fanbase now. It doesn't make any sense.
