Welcome! This is probably the 3rd time or that I'm "starting anew" with a new thread lol. I haven't forgot about some unfinished stuff and requests from time ago so I'll fulfill those soon, I promise! Anyway, let's get right to it!

Starting off with an idle of yours truly, just completed today just in fact. Funny enough, this is like the 8th or 9th time I did a base for him.

Maybe, that'll be a fun project for the future after SSF2. But for now, I'll make some stuff (like basic movement) for him though as a little side project.

looks good! i feel like in the running animation there should be a little more bobbing or hopping in some of the frames, if that makes sense

I have to say the legs definately have more form then any of your previous versions.

I would argue that you've put too many shades in each segment, giving it a pillow-shading appearance. Perhaps making your character taller would help you out - as this sprite is your smallest one yet.
I've recently gone to a brand new, larger sprite style.

This way it's all in the line work, allowing each frame to be as smooth as possible. Shading becomes an afterthought. I'm not saying your style needs to change, I just feel that you're restricting your work by making him closer to the ground. Less room to move around. Take it into consideration :smile:

Nah, just kidding. However I didn't know that the Airship levels were in SMB1 and SMW style. So I made a SMB1 style Airship above.
