If you guys were any smart, I'd see no hands up and everyone saying they use Windows or Linux.

As I always said, Apple computers don't get viruses because no one cares about Apple's OS.

I've gotten something like this on Windows, Defender.exe. Usually I just make a quick move to safe mode/task manager, and I can just use AVG and/or malwarebytes.

I had WinBlueSoft and I couldn't get rid of it.
If only I knew about AVG back then...

Yeah I've had the windows equivalent a few times. MalwareBytes always takes it out in under an hour.

What are these "viruses" of which you speak?

Mac's OS isn't that terrible. It's got the gui niceties of windows and an easy to use terminal, it's just... really simple. Not simple as in primitive, more like easy to manipulate. Of course the machines that come with it installed are horribly designed (I had to change the thermal paste in a macbook for my friend because it was overheating right 'out of the box' and I hear other models have problems too)and extremely overpriced for the parts you get.

Easy to manipulate? You do know that half the time there's an issue with either your software or your hardware, you need to call in a tech guy because the whole thing is so locked up, right?

If you have an issue with a mac you could sell it and buy a real computer.
