i have a lot of trouble uploading quality animated footage of deep because of the really unique static effect that has areas go static-y the darker they are or the further away they are from the player. it looks great and im really proud of it, but it increases the amount of colours in any given screenshot or frame in a massive way, which is why the videos always look kind of garbled. THAT BEING SAID, i've managed to record something at a 33fps (still almost half the normal) to try and show you guys how checkpoints look and function in the game without losing massive amounts of quality:

Not sure how a large color pallet causes static effects but I do have one thing to say. I thought that arm cannon was a face...

Try reading

The static effect causes it to have a lot of colours to process, not the other way around

Which means it's hard to show off properly because of youtube's awful bitrate

1- Is it normal that the hearts fell through the platform?
2 - I freaking love that save point animation
3 - the robot is tilting when moving in mid-air 10/10
4 -When you fall from a high spot "0:08" and the screen shakes, are you a little stunned?
5 - Good job with the hitbox/hurtbox part. I know some game where it was badly made and made me want to burn the game.
and finally

I'm really feeling the visual upgrades
em, 7 - Do you intend on adding fall damage?

1. Actually no! That's a weird little thing that popped up in one of the most recent builds out of nowhere and I didn't have time to fix it before today's update.

3. Yeah! There's also a similar effect during heavy knockback that looks pretty neat, thanks for noticing!
4. Yep, it's only for a short moment but it depends on how far you fell.
5. It was very necessary for this game, and long past overdue :)
6. Thank you!
7. Nope, point number 4 covers as much 'fall damage' as there'll ever be. You'll be stunned for a moment if you fall really far but you won't take any damage.

Wait, do bosses randomly spawn on deep™ level or the game has end stage boss?

Not really either of those. They're found in fixed locations in your world but where those locations are will differ from save file to save file. They have arenas as well, they won't just spawn somewhere in your world and wander around.

deep is a game where you can spin your robot around on ice like a goofy idiot but the boss is a no fun nelly and will not tolerate it
