I would only want an Eternia remake if it remained 2d, I think that's when everyone's skills looked the best, 3d Reid's skills always looked pretty clunky to me.

Also, I know Phantasia has a f*** of remakes but....I REALLY want a CC style battle system for them, that would be pretty beast (no pun intended).

Phantasia Narkari Dungeon X is your answer for that it made a completely unique system based on the CC system and EG system.

Yeah, but that's Narakiri Dungeon, I mean the actual Phantasia game, which from my memory on the PSP is the TP system.

So, Tales of Symphonia HD is out in Japan now.
I like the Guy costume, putting it out there.

That game is the bane of my disappointment. You have no idea how much disappoint is still in my veins.

Why's that?

For a HD remake almost nothing was changed.
ToS HD just nerfed spell canceling and removed some Jab locks.
TOS2 just had hats added iirc.

It's not an HD remake. It's an HD port with new costumes.

Even for a HD port it still lazily made, all they really did was slap new costumes onto a poorly the PS2 textures making the new costumes look good but the face and hair still look like s***.
They could have added more content to the game honestly, it's really just a cheap cash in.

It pretty much ruined any potential solo/duet runs I was PLANNING on doing.
I'm going to stick with previous versions and completely skip over this game.

Seeing how Symphonia was my first TO game, I really can't support it knowing that it got b**** for aesthetics. This is just as bad as the Destiny slot machine port.

spell cancelling pretty much breaks the game on its own, but characters are very viable to do some amazing and interesting combos
