Well, I'm running on fumes right now, so I'm drawing a blank. I can't think of anyone fitting clue #2 for one thing; it's likely someone we've heard before, someone who's been hotly debated, either here or in the Smash community itself. But who fits that criteria? I used to know tons of possible answers! I've seen dozens of character speculation arguments in my time! But I can't remember who they were about! ARGH

Try looking through the Character archives at smashboards for various characters

the closest I could think of right now is Ridley and Geno, maybe they will do something to them to make them feel extra special

Okay, so people are making tons of speculation on who will be tomorrow's "Very Controversial" character. Here are a list of candidates I am putting together and I will edit this as it goes on...

Dante (Devil May Cry)
Geno (Super Mario RPG)
Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)
Ridley (Metroid)
Scorpion (Mortal Kombat)
Shadow The Hedgehog (Sonic)

Although the Devs stated that their attacks are different than any other characters. It could be somebody listed here, it might not be. Either way, I am psyched for the big reveal tomorrow.

(Not to mention that I think there are still other characters being planned for Beta after Smash-Con like Ice Climbers and King Dedede).

If they play "differently", could it perhaps be in a manner similar to Ryu, which would mean they're a fighting game character? That would give more credence to the Scorpion theory.

I feel like one character will be revealed after Smash Con, then the other is a secret unlockable. (don't forget though, Sandbag is a unlockabale character in this demo, and in the final version.

Guys, the stream restarted at 2:00 in the morning and lasted 24 minutes, it was this looped video of 2 Ness' standing in an area that looked like the Gygas boss battle in Earthbound. The Final Character is Gygas.

but ohhhhhh holy gugcamole if this is true, I'm done, I need need the demo, they could do so many things with Giygas.

But Maybe Giygas might be the final boss of Classic mode instead of master hand and crazy hand.

Edit: Okay I checked, and there are multiple catagories this can classify Giygas in

1. Giygas is a boss in Classic Mode, I see him more of a secret boss if this happens
2. its a (Creepy) new stage
3. he actually is a playable character, don't know how they are gonna make him work.
