It was a joke My advice is to try accents first and learn them before trying individual people

Well, I understood it. I probably overreacted, my apologies. When you say accents, what exactly do you mean? I'm assuming accents as in, English or Russian, but you never know when it concerns voices.

Yea, like English, Russian etc. Accents (for me at least) help your voice grow and become more accustomed to different styles

What you need to work on before you try voice-acting again is emotions. You have to sound like you're in the same mood the character is in. If the character is angry, you have to sound enraged. If the character is sad (for example, he just lost the woman he loved), you need to FEEL it, you have to SOUND like you're in anguish over her death.
I suggest you work on that in private before you try voice-acting again because in cases like this, what you're doing doesn't work. (What I mean by that is that if you're not at least trying to sound like the character you're voicing then what's the point?)

..Alright, apparently I got the wrong point by saying "not trying to sound like the character". When I say "not trying to sound like the character" I mean that I'm not trying to make my voice sound like theirs. My voice is a lot different than Lloyd's voice, and I'm not trying to mimic the sound of it. I don't know who my voice would be fitting for as of now.

Lloyd is in a battle, presumably fighting for his life, so his attacks should sound like attacks. Just mimicking it makes it sound strange

Bro, it's called voice ACTING for a reason. Don't expect to just find a character who sounds exactly like you.

There is more to Voice Acting then merely saying words loud or silent. A nice voice can make a great difference. It gives the character personality. Kinda like this; And this Compared to that, you sound kind of plain so far. I've always wondered how you actually get into Voice Acting, since I don't think there is like an university for it or something, but it takes some skill and control over the tone of your voice. And practise, I guess.

Well, I do expect to change my voice in time, but I'm sure it wouldn't be exactly good "practice" to voice someone such as, say, Amy the Hedgehog or Misaki Mei. I try to find a character that'd at least be semi-fitting for my voice to practice best. I do understand it's 'acting', but I'm not looking for an exact match.

If you want to 'practise' Voice Acting, I'd suggest taking up Singing lessons or maybe even Drama Class or whatever you americans call it. That helps you to control your voice better (in the case of drama class, it helps you to convey emotion into your speech. and stuff.).
