He beat out some hopefuls who were 20-ish years old
He's 16
He's really sad to have beat out those hard core gamers
I mean, how many hours a day does he play that racing game!?

Meh. I'm not a fan of racing games, tends to be rigged against you.

He won a mobile phone game championship. How sad.

I hate racing and he's gay for being in a mobile game competition.

There was a vid of him playing floating around somewhere.
Apprently one of them was about to beat him and then he crashed which let the kid win. Talk about fail.

I like how he's waving the flag around, like he just accomplished something amazing.

Unfortunately, he has more than 300 times more money than I do at the moment.

And will he do something worthwhile with it like helping the poor?
No.
Will he donate to a charity which is trying hard to find/make treatments for disadvantaged people?
No.
Will he help those in need like people who are barely surviving in war-torn or "developing" countries?
No.

Then there isn't much point in wanting that much money. Your probably only going to use half of it and the other half goes unspent for another day.

You speak as if charity was a good thing.

It's all in the mind
It's like buying organic produce. Nothing tells you that it's 100% organice. Heck, there was an egg company selling battery eggs as free range organic.
So I think it's just nice to have that "good deed" feeling, despite it just being dropping a few dollars in a bucket.

Charity is buying self-satisfaction indeed.

I would split it up and attempt to donate a decent amount to a variety of charities
