Trouble Running SSF2 on Linux

I'm very new to Linux, so if I sound stupid I apologize. So, I downloaded the linux version from the mcleodgaming website, and extracted it on my desktop. When I click on the SSF2 executable nothing happens. I tried using a shockwave flash player but that doesn't work either. No windows pop up and no error messages come up either. Any idea how I could fix this? I really don't want to have to use the browser version.

My best advice is get a HP computer with Windows 10 like the one I have and download the Windows version. All you have to go through to get the Windows version is just one easy setup wizard. I hope this helped, and if it didn't let me know.

Hmmm... I believe SSF2 still updates automatically in older versions, so perhaps you could try to install an older version and see if it opens? (and wait for it to update automatically in the loading screen of course) _________________    Well, old friends, this is the day where everything will be archived for all to see and reminisce about. This isn't a farewell, but rather a "See you later", as we move on to the next world who'd've guessed my secondaries bit would have a new purpose! |
