Just this: Enforce rules regarding signatures (Rule 12, specifically).
I don't think I need to bring specific examples, as most of you have seen sigs that take over 60% of your screen or are much longer than the posts they are attached to.
I know I can report those, but they seem to multiplicate. Isn't there a way to detect size of images when they are called via html? maybe force an specific sig size, regardless of character limits?

I think it's kind of silly to enforce a really specific number for image sizes in signatures, because that doesn't really always solve the problem. They could just have a lot in their signature in general. Whenever one is reported it's pretty much immediately taken care of, personally I prefer that way. I wonder what other people think though.

the real question is: what resolution is your monitor?
you don't really have much room to complain if you're using outdated technology in 2016

1366x768. Nothing too great tbh. Still more pixels than half the cellphones out there tho

well I size my sigs according to my monitor, which is 1080p
I don't want to make this into a dickwaving contest over monitor sizes but that should probably be the standard sigs are judged by
doesn't this site already resize images if they're too big anyway? or does that not apply to sigs

I'm pretty sure that it only resizes massive images if you use [timg] instead of [img]

I also use this resolution and I have no issues with any sigs currently (and I PM people fairly frequently about obnoxious sig sizes) Unless the people you're referring to only post in the SSF2 sections / other places I don't go, I'm pretty sure everything is ok currently

It does for both, but only to the width of the monitor, not the height.

Anywho, like Geno said, when you see a sig of notable size, please report it and we will deal with it accordingly.
