I have Tales of Symphonia, and I LOVED it.
I prefer it over the sequel because of Unison Attacks and being other characters besides only Marta and Emil. I'm planning to get Tales of Abyss for the 3DS (if it ever comes to US). _________________  |

There were Unison Attacks in Dawn of the New World. Just not the same thing. Dawn of the New World was my favorite due to how Emil played and the battle system. It's just more enjoyable playing the first one. I also preferred the voice actors in the second game. |

HELL NO. Lloyd sounded retarded. Genis's spells looked so... unexciting. The "Unison Attacks" were so complicated, and were pretty much only for Marta, Emil, and the monsters. Emil's style was... so modern. I mean, this game is chronologically before... Phatasia, I think. Honestly, ToS2 < ToS in nearly everything. _________________ |

I feel like they tried too hard to modernize ToS2. They should have just kept with the original, and gave what people wanted. It broke my heart for Genis to be in your party and not being able to play as him. I never finished the game, but I do own it. I beat ToS 19 times. That must tell you something.
Oh, and as far as I know Kratos is nowhere in the game, which was a big mistake. ESPECIALLY because Richter could be like, his identical twin. |
