I know this breaks the rule regarding unlockables, but what if the anime characters were unlockable?
That way, people wouldn't be immediately turned off by the presence of Ichigo and Goku, and if they cared enough to play the game a bit, they would unlock them AFTER they find out how good the game is, regardless of roster choices.

The second most common complaint I hear about this game on other sites (you already know what the first most common is) is that the camera is way too zoomed in. And I do kind of see where they're coming from about the camera. It's clearly intended primarily for the browser version or a program window, and not play on a TV or large monitor.

I think there should be a camera setting in the Options menu, perhaps with two modes; "Windowed", which is the camera right now for those playing the browser version or multitasking, and "Full Screen", which would be closer to the official games.

EDIT: One more suggestion;

I'm in favor. Beta's deep forest BF is a little too claustrophobic-feeling for my personal tastes.

This would also have the added benefit of allowing the unintrusive return of other cut resources; Yoshi's Story 64 from v0.8 (which was superior to Yoshi's Story Melee in my opinion), Mushroom Kingdom II from v0.5 (I like MK3 and all, but I do miss this place.), Comet Observatory, Wily Castle, the old layouts for Hueco Mundo, Twilight Town, SSZ, and Saturn Valley, etc...

Though they should probably have a disclaimer so new players don't get confused. Maybe some text to the effect of;

"NOTE: This stage was deemed unfit for the final game after [version number] in [year] and replaced. It is included as a hidden option solely for the sake of nostalgia and is not intended to be counted among Super Smash Flash 2's stage selection."

on the corner of the stage menu while the ASL button is being held down or something.

I think this would be reasonable since the data for said extra stages already exists in a complete form and wouldn't need very much extra programming because of it.

...well, the ASL itself would take some work, but the nostalgia stages themselves would pretty much be plug-and-play.

I have a suggestion.

A "stored" smash attack for a character. It's kind of like rage in Smash Bros. 4.

When the player's damage is over a 100%, the character can fully charge a smash attack and store it, once.

It'll reduce all of their other attacks and increase your knockback. So use it at your own risk.

I call this a FLASH ATTACK.

I'm pretty sure someone else has posted this, but a lobby chat pre game, and a lobby chat post game. I want to make it clear that it's ONE FINGER Sonic, not an actual game

Can we just have a better CPU AI?
The one we have is so bad.
Just make it smarter (in a way it would stop spamming moves and SDing)

I can tell you right now they're doing the best they can.

There are SO MANY intricate factors to take into account with a game as complex as Smash. It's not easy to program a competent robot, especially in something as limited as Flash. They've been improving the AI every single new demo, but there's only so much the engine's capable of.

That's why there's the Peril Roulette in Beta's higher Classic difficulties; making harder and harder Classic opponents simply isn't possible.

Tell me in a more descriptive manner because this seems interesting.

Make this a special mode, I couldn't stand this in normal mode.

I suggest Sora gets "Finishing Leap" as an Up-B on the ground that can chain into "Aerial Recovery".

This move would have set knockback along with a damage of 7%. The move would always send the enemy upward. Could be fun to chain combos with Sora.

Here's a thought. There was a rumor regarding Brawl that if Kirby were to eat specific items, he would get powers from his own games. I think this would be a cool idea to include in SSF2.

Fire Flower: Fireball Kirby - Melee dash attack
Freezie: Freeze Kirby - Ice Breath
Bob-Omb: Bomb Kirby - Throwing bombs
Beam sword: Cutter Kirby - Throwing razors
Explosive Tag: Ninja Kirby - Attacking with kunai / homing dropkick

This is just to name a few ideas.

That's a really cool idea!
Maybe even with holdable items, if you suck it up, you can steal it from someone throwing it at you

Do you have a source for this? Also isn't inhaling enemies the main way for Kirby to use the copy ability in his games? I don't remember him inhaling objects for abilities (unless you are talking about the show, which is again not a game source).

kirby is able to acquire abilities via objets too. e.g:
-In Kirby 64, Kirby can absorb Magman's rocks to acquire the Stone ability
-In Revenge of Meta Knight, Kirby can obtain the Bomb and Yo-yo powers by inhaling Combo Cannon's projectile attacks.
-Also, Marx's Ice bomb and Cutter attacks actually give kirby those abilities.
