I've been thinking about a new RP idea...

Okay, so I joined McLeod about two weeks ago and sense then, I realized I'm not a uber n00b at RPing, so I thought I would try my hand at my own story, and I was hoping if you guys could help me out with my ideas. I want to have it take place about early 1900's, and I want the characters to be a team of something like detectives, or reporters, or attorneys, or something along the lines of that. (If you have any more interesting job ideas, feel free to tell me, I'm welcome to any ideas.) I want it ho have a kinda "Noir" feeling to it. Think "always raining" or "always nighttime". I want it to take place in a city somewhere in America. And let me get this across the board; NO SUPERPOWERS, NO BAD-ASS OVER SIZED-SWORDS, NO EMOTIONAL TEENAGERS WHO HAD THEIR PARENTS KILLED AND ARE NOW OUT FOR REVENGE, AND NO MYTHICAL CREATURES OR TALKING ANIMALS! So, if you are interested in helping me get my ideas together, please post. Feel free to point out anything not to your liking, I need some constructive criticism.

Thank you.

Hmmm... Not half bad. It seems that you're not really a n00b here after all. But that's not for me to judge considering I've only been here for a few weeks. Maybe you should consider bounty hunters, mercenaries, or something along those lines.

If you're going for the Film Noir vibe, I think I can work out something for you.

Think "always raining" or "always nighttime". And of course you will be investigating a plague outbreak in a remote rural town. But don't worry you'll be safe from the plague, or will you?

Thank you.

Cool Idea. I would play that.

This seems like a good idea for an RP, and one that will not fail... hopefully
I would invent a whole new character for this... and then play it...
I say, full steam ahead!

That would be redundant. As this is the "Sprite Workshop".

Save the dragons... please? And btw, just because they are not eggs does not mean they will automatically survive. They have to mature to survive. Thus, please click?

If Chaotex plans on joining, I say don't do it. Not making it is better than RPing with him.

Zesper, I say what you're thinking is a very good idea, but... It could fail from the people being in it and you maybe messing up or not capable of controlling it.

Don't worry, if I make it, I will have a co-host.

There are quite a few pros available, however that still leaves members themselves. Chances are somewhere along the line you'll accept someone like Chaotex, who, although posts are moderately long, the quality is generally crappy.

Just an example. By all means, do this, but get someone like Thai, Nini, (Not) Hakker, Whimskull, etc.

:( Any suggestions as to what I can do to improve the quality of my posts?

Alright, will put it at the top of my RP priority list.
Anything more pearls of wisdom from your infinite stock of RP lore, o master of the RP section and benevolent dictator of the Kyzak Seal of Approval?
