what diddnt you like about it?

Well let's see. Even the creators of DN said Near cheated, Mikami killed himself. Misa killed herself, then Ryuk killed Light. Then there was that annoying music. And of course there was that really crazy part where Light laughed all maniacally and sounded like a little wuss. And to top it all off Matsuda the epic fail of the investigation team shoots Light. The whole thing was about how crazy light went over his noble goal. I recall this in my history book.

"While trying to rid the world of monsters, be sure you do not become a monster yourself in the process." - I forgot.

And another thing if it wasn't COMPLETELY obvious from what I just said they were pretty much just killing off characters. Where are you Misa! Where are you Takada!

I thought they made the last episode perfect. Some of my friends though, who also watched the whole anime, say the ending could have been much better.

Meh, I'm not suggesting they should have done it any other way, it just wasn't the way I would have wanted it to go....

I got pretty attached to Light y'know.... He got what he deserved, nothing less.... But it never seems right for a major character to die IMO

Honestly speaking I was on L's side then Near's because from the minute I saw Mello I knew he would fail very hard. And then Matt died so quickly in like ONE fifteen second scene. Secondly the WAY he died was Death Note just killing off more characters he gets shot to death, smokes one last cigarette, and dies.

And moreover despite hating him very much, Light kind of kicked the tar out of the Wammy House, and he didn't kill ANY of them. First Rem killed L to protect Misa in a kind of sweet trap. Second was Mello who TAKADA killed. And then Near had to cheat to win so Mikami couldn't
own him. But why Near is one of my favorites is simple. He made cheating look bad a**.

As for Light... it was clear in the last episode he got totally owned.
First he: Denied knowing Mikami, and Near proved that wrong.
Then he: Laughed maniacally, and tried to sweet talk them into joining his side.
Afterwards he: Got owned by Matsuda
Lastly he: Ran away and was killed by Ryuk.
It would have been better if Light had some twists of his own, but it instead showed that N was clearly going to be the next L, by the
ownage he delivered upon Light.

Don't watch the ending of Code Geass R2.

yea thats pretty much exactly how i felt. but..well let me explain it like this:

When light was counting down the 40 seconds for near and everyone else to die, i was like "LIGHT! YOU BASTARD!" and than the episode ended, and i diddnt know what was going to happen.

but than in the next episode, when it was light who died, i was like ;_;..no lighto kun. dont die on me!
