I've been speculating about Jotaro and Dio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I mean, sprites for them already exist (they were both in Jump Ultimate Stars), and I feel like they'd be fine additions to the roster moveset-wise.

Alright fellas, hey, haven't been on this forum since October. Nice to see you guys.
But anyway, I really distinctly remember something. Like, back in 2010, there was this video showing off expansion characters.
I'm not sure if anyone else remembers it. But it also had Pit, and more importantly, 8-Bit Mario.
I was completely fascinated with 8-Bit Mario since that video (I believe it was official) and I recently remembered his existence.
Has he ever been mentioned? By the devs, or anything? Thanks for helping.

Not to my knowledge. But considering the fact that he used several 8-Bit characters as part of his moves, I personally think 9-Volt from Warioware could fit that role better. Speaking of Warioware, I'm speculating Ashley as playable
