I have been actually been using Robin and have been liking her a little bit more now. Is still feel like a lot of high tier characters wreck her though.

Robin feels a bit too technical for me at times (if thats even the right term). Having to keep track of the tome usages and Levin sword. As I like to try catching the used up items to throw at opponents. My fault I know. I do like using them though.

Having played Robin for well over a year now, here's my opinion of Robin's tier placing: I believe that she/he's a upper-mid to mid tier. That throw buff really helped.

even with that Robin can't get opponents off of him once they're on him
hence why the whole matchup against Falcon is "don't f*** up or your stock is gone"

That's exactly what I hate about Robin it's not a fair matchup.

also while this throw increases your combo options, it's situational since your opponent shouldn't be too close to you in the first place

maybe after an arcfire or something but you'd have to use a high-risk move and pray they don't SDI out of it while they're at a low percent (or a high but not too high of a percent for the kill)

There's a few techniques you can use to get the grab, and I like using these:
Roll-cancel grabs - Get you a standing grab whilst going a moderate distance.
Arcthunder -> Grab - The opponent's shieldstun will be too great to do anything.
Shieldgrabbing a rushdown character - Works surprisingly well a lot of the time.

Also, Arcfire rarely leads to a grab. Nosferatu yes, but not a grab.

Nothing is fair.

Also, Robin can get opponents off him. On the ground, he's got jab, which is a frame 4 move and is the fastest swordsman jab in the game. In the air, he has Elwind. It can help as a quick get-off-me option, as it's his fastest move in the air (Frame 8). You just have to play defensive, the matchup is manageable.

With Olimar you should be focused on playing as lame as possible while managing your Pikmin formation. When fighting characters that can rush you down be aware of your options and how you can restrict movement.
If you want we can do Olimar ditto's since I mained him for a time before going back to Shulk and D3.

A lot of stuff with Olimar comes from how well you can restrict options, and manage your Pikmin formation, having a Purple Pikmin is always good so make sure you have one out at any time.
