Shulk's Monado Arts Customs are a lot of fun.

Yeah it is Shulk himself has a lot of potential then most people give credit for the only problem is his airs are kinda slow.

It's not just his aerials, he has overall pretty awful frame data.
It balances him fairly well, because his range is pretty ridiculous.

Except it doesn't there's no reason why a full hopped Bair should have a ton of end lag, and why his Nair doesn't come out earlier.

If they could buff anything is to give him better frame data and less laggy aerials. He would be almost perfect.

Well you see

That's not how balancing works

It's called "balancing" for a reason

you can get easy combos with Sheik, haha. it's really not a good idea to use Monado shield as soon as your stock starts against Sheik. Ftilt or gimp into oblivion

makes sense for other characters but Sheik is not one of them

smash isn't really a smart idea when i'm only at 10% though. again. what the hell are you gonna kill me with?

It might actually be possible for Shulk to get a KO at 10% under Smash. He'd have to counter a strong enough attack (about 30% percent or more) and use the forward counter. MIGHT be possible, never tested that.

It's certainly possible, but not you're best option. You could always land a few hits then land a meteor smash.

It's certainly possible with customs.
Power Vision + Hyper Smash is literally a guaranteed kill upon counter. Especially with the forward counter. Normally, a forward countered reverse Warlock Punch/fully charged sweetspotted Flare Blade will probably work.

Power Vision is flat out stupid though. Watch BKG's video on top 10 best customs.

yeah but see having smash on and hoping to land a counter is probably one of your worst options

again, especially against Sheik, whose one of her main kill moves is very awkward to counter (bouncing fish)

True.

I was talking about possibility, not probability. It's probably one of the only things you can do though if you pick Decisive Smash at low percents by accident.

This is not a confirmation, and yes, IMBD can be very easily edited as we all know, but it's the way Miller worded the tweet that's really interesting.
Remember this sort of thing happened similarly last August when people found Shulk's actor on IMBD and him also tweeting about it.

Yeah, it also happened last month with Shantae.

I sure love playing her in Smash.

was playing shulk earlier and i found that his aerials weren't too bad, they reminded me of ikes except not as heavy and were good for combos
i definitely couldn't get used to them while using jump arts though, very tough imo

imdb can be edited by anyone and this immediately invalidates all "leaks" using it as a source

WELL . . . . . .
They've got to be working on something rn right

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we had a new character release next month/early october or something, right as they get the poll results

Edit: Clicked the link out of curiosity and of course it's a character I actually care about
I would kill a lot of dudes for Professor Layton to be playable in this particular computer game
I don't think it will ever happen though
